3A + 3B = A+ Schools

Vote YES on 3A and 3B! It's the most sound investment you can make right here at home, in your own backyard. Your yes votes on 3A and 3B will maintain solid home values and pour $88 million into our local economy through capital construction and jobs.

3A and 3B

Yes

Adams 12 is seeking an $80 million bond override, and a $9.9 million mill levy. The amount seems like a lot, until voters take into consideration that the district has cut $16 million from its budget in the past few years, while improving student performance at the same time. We closely watch the Five Star district, and believe it has been prudent with its money, careful with its cuts, and dedicated to its children. We realize times are tough, but believe they're about to be a whole lot tougher in the district if these measures do not pass. We fully support Adams 12, and fully support 3A and 3B. Voters should too.

  • Yes on 3A prevents the loss of 165 jobs, preserving an $8 million a year benefit to the local economy for just 93 cents a week on $100,000 home value.
  • Our neighborhoods save $200,000 in intervention services for every student who graduates high school.

 

  3B = Building Better Learning Environments

  3B is an $80 million bond that will:

  • Build two new elementary schools to relieve overcrowding
  • Protect our students using advanced security measures
  • Eliminate aging, trailer classrooms at several schools
  • Provide much-needed renovations to 47 existing schools
  • Replace obsolete computers with new technology
    ...all with NO tax rate increase!
